Weekly Update 4.9.25

Today, students will have spring photo proofs in agendas. Some may also have an envelope containing AIG information. Please review these items carefully.
Student Folders will come home FRIDAY with 3rd quarter report cards and some other school information.
MONDAY 4/14 is Field Day. Our class will participate from 11:30-1:00. You must be a field day volunteer to watch your child participate.
Next Tuesday 4/15 our class will do a Taste Of North Carolina in conjunction with our economics unit in social studies. We will feature several NC entrepreneurs whose businesses grew to some of the largest in the country! To make this event a success, I need your help. Please message me ASAP if you are willing to send 6 Bojangles BoBerry Biscuits and 1 dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts to school. I will pick up all the other items prior!
Mark your calendars! On April 24th, Oakview will host the Spring Fling which features the 3rd grade Food Truck Rodeo! If you have not already, please fill out this RSVP form ASAP! word-foodtrucks
There is NO SCHOOL next Friday, April 18th due to a holiday weekend.
If your child “Read Across America” all the way to Hawaii in our March reading challenge you should have received an RSVP link in Talking Points yesterday. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Students are reviewing all 3rd quarter (and some 2nd quarter) math standards to get us ready for our math checkin next week.
