  • Student Folders will come home FRIDAY with 3rd quarter report cards and some other school information about spring pictures and more!
  • Last call for 3rd quarter conferences. If you are interested in meeting with me to discuss your child’s progress, please message me ASAP!
  • MONDAY 4/13 is Field Day. Our class will participate from 11:30-1:00. You must be a field day volunteer to watch your child participate. Please dress accordingly!
  • Next Tuesday 4/14 our class will do a Taste Of North Carolina in conjunction with our economics unit in social studies. We will feature several NC entrepreneurs whose businesses grew to some of the largest in the country! To make this event a success, I need your help. Please message me ASAP if you are willing to send 6 Bojangles BoBerry Biscuits and 1 dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts to school. I will pick up all the other items prior!
  • On Tuesday, April 21st we will celebrate all our hard work in becoming multiplication masters! We had our first batch of masters reach their goal today! Congrats to Maya, Srie, Evelyn, Thomas, Tommy, and Ben. Students will continue to have opportunities twice a week to reach their goal or extend past their basic facts and do mixed! We will need your help to make this a success! Thank you for clicking here to sign up to donate 1 item.

 

  • Mark your calendars! On April 28th, Oakview will host the Spring Fling which features the 3rd grade Food Truck Rodeo! If you have not already, please fill out this RSVP form ASAP! word-foodtrucks
  • If your child “Read Across America” all the way to Hawaii in our March reading challenge you will received an RSVP link in Talking Points tomorrow. Please let me know if you have any questions.
