Be on the lookout:

  • Holy moly guacamole, we need a routine! I know it’s been a tough stretch of holidays and days out recently. Thank you for supporting at home learning. Homework for the rest of the week is to complete the snow packet that went home last week. I will collect all this work Friday.
  • Reading and Math Checkins B are postponed for now. I’ll let you know when there are solid dates.
  • Students will take their Mid Year STAR math benchmark test this Friday in class. No prep is needed. I will share results with you in a few weeks.
  • There is an information sheet coming home today regarding a class valentine exchange and AT home Valentine box creation involving some math skills :) I will explain this project to the students, but please let me know if you have questions.
  • Timed multiplication quizzes begin NEXT week!! Your child has an icecream sundae sheet in their agenda to keep track of their successes with these 1 minute timed quizzes. There are 16 questions on each quiz and students pass with a 15/16 or better. If they do NOT pass, there will be a makeup opportunity each Friday during arrival. All quizzes will come home the day they are taken (planned for Mon and Wed) and will be located inside the plastic X sundae page. Please do what you can to help prepare your child for these fun and important assessments!
