Be on the Lookout for…

  • Reminder, community service projects are due Thursday, June 1st. Students will take the next week sharing their good deeds as a class presentation. If you need the papers associated with that project, click here.
  • EOG’s ARE OVER!! Thank you parents for all your hard work preparing your child and making sure they were here for testing days. I was very happy with what I saw and feel good about HUGE growth and success for all!
  • Last week of school fun and celebration information is here! I sent through dojo and as hard copies. Students have selected “Emoji Day” for the last day of school. We will participate in plays and dress as emojis.
  • If you have any of the following items that I could borrow on mon-wed next week June 4-6, please message me asap! I promise to return them in perfect condition. BLUE TARP, FOLDABLE BEACH UMBRELLA/stand word- 9moredays

This week in Literacy:

Students will practice their reading and writing skills as they compile a End of 3rd grade Lapbook, which is a personalized memory book of all their favorite parts of the year.

This week in Math:

Students will let their creativity and math expertise fly as they create their own math board game! Parents, you will see these next week at our class party/game day! They will also complete a math breakout box challenge in the classroom.

This quarter in social studies: Students will learn about Civics and Government. Students will choose a community service project as a way to show good citizenship and help their communities. Projects details were sent home yesterday through hard copies and on Dojo classroom stories!

Objectives for this quarter are:

3.C&G.1 Understand the development, structure and function of local government.
3.C&G.2 Understand how citizens participate in their communities.
