- Happy Holidays to you and yours. Our room is full of holiday cheer and we’d love to add your family Christmas card. If you are sending cards and have one to share, I’d love to display it for our class to share the joy this month!
- 2nd quarter interim reports for 3rd graders came home Friday, Dec 4th. Please sign and return them asap.
- Results from the reading BOG (Beginning of Grade) will be in folders today. You do NOT need to return this. Please do not stress about the results. This is not part of your child’s grade and will be used only as a marker of growth this year.
- Students will participate in some fun holiday activities Thursday, Dec 17th. Please view this link for items we need to make this fun event a great success. Thanks!
- Friday, Dec 18th is our last 2020 school day for students. We will do some academic drills and challenges early in the day, then I will be providing popcorn and juice for students to snack on while watching Home Alone-a PG rated classic that the class voted on. Please fill out this Google Form so I have your permission for your child to watch this film. word-turtledove
This week in Literacy:
Students are finishing a new writing piece this week based on the book “The Best Part of Me“. This book is written by a local author and teacher! Students will focus on something special about their body that makes them strong, beautiful, or unique. Students will create a special final piece that will be frameworthy 🙂
