- On Tuesday April 9th. We will be visiting the Museum of Natural Science and Museum of History in downtown Raleigh. The best part (other than getting 2 museums in 1 trip, is that the cost is only $6!). Please send payments and permission forms in ASAP. If you would like to be a chaperone (we will need many), please send Mrs. Vaughan a message in Talking Points stating so.
- Spirit Night coming soon! See image below.
This week in Literacy:
Throughout the month of February our class will recognize the contributions of prominent Black Americans through stories, research, music, and art. Keep that conversation going at home asking them about who they learned about each day!
In Module 3 we will focus on reading classic chapter books. As a class will will dive deep into Peter Pan by JM Barrie and use this text to explore text dependent questions, character traits, point of view, theme, and more! Please check for any classics you can get your hands on to share at home. A list of some great classics can be found here.
