Be on the Lookout!

  • Students will be bringing home reading passages for the next several days to work on for homework. This practice is important for students to practice INDEPENDENTLY, although help can be given when checking answers.
  • Students should utilize the PARTY reading strategy to set them up for success. Each student is bringing home a bookmark with the details of this strategy on it to remind them (and inform you) of this practice. word-PARTY
  • Important Dates coming up- Mark your calendars!!
  • No school Monday May 27th for Memorial Day
  • Reading EOG’s: Thurs, May 30th 
  • Math EOG’s: Mon, June 3rd

This week in Literacy:

In Module 4 we will explore the impact of water around the world! Find out standards, goals, and more by clicking this link to the parent information letter.

This week in Math:

We are on our last remaining unit of our math curriculum with some more measurement concepts. Students will learn to tell time on an analog clock to the nearest minute. They will also need to be able to find elapsed time (how much time has passed between start and end times) using a number line.
